I want to start by wishing you a warm welcome to my site. I am thrilled you are considering me as an option to work with, or just taking an interest in how I support growing businesses.
By the time you’ve finished reading this page, you’ll hopefully have got to know me a bit better and decided if this could be the start of a beautiful working relationship (and maybe even started imagining life without admin stresses keeping you up until 2am).
I have over 10 years of experience within the customer service industry, acquiring different skills from different roles. This allows me to offer a “one-stop-shop” solution for my clients. A place where we can work together from the ground up, starting with a website, and then progressing to business and marketing support.
I have two beautiful little boys. Jasper is 7, and Rory is 5 going on 15. I also have a plant called Marvin, who I am astonished is still alive.
Don't get me wrong, I love a city break. But for me, nothing beats being by the coast. The undeniable sense of peace I feel around water is something Wallace J. Nichols calls our "blue mind", where he says. I quote - "There Is A Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better at What You Do".
It is these moments where I escape the hyper-connected and over-stimulated state of modern life and find rare moments of solitude. Since humans started exploring the planet, we've followed the water - it is in our nature. Following rivers would open new horizons and new beginning’s, and for me, it brings a fresh mindset.
I love flowers. Receiving them, sending them, planting them, arranging them, and smelling them (but not so much watering them). I finally received my first bunch of roses at the ripe age of 29! I think I cried (In fact, I definitely did, I'm a crier).
Who can function without a routine?! Not I! Having a day-to-day routine means I work and parent more efficiently. By following a routine and limiting distractions, the quality of work I produce is to a much higher standard and the time spent with the boys is free of thinking about my workload. I also like to think that it is this level of organisation and attention to detail that makes me so good at what I do!
I love Yoga. It does wonders for mental health and fitness; however, the stretching side isn't really for me. I bet you are thinking, "that is Yoga, though". You're correct. It is. But Yoga is also body balancing, deep breathing, and just being calm. Since I can remember, I have always been naturally strong, from pull-ups in the park against the boys when I was 8 to learning how to handstand in my late 20s, anything to do with bodyweight has always come naturally. I am fortunate, it's always been pretty effortless.
Once we come out of lockdown, I will be attending my 2nd ever yoga class & will make a conscious effort to become a proper Yogi.
