Privacy policy

L Digital is run by Olivia Ball. This page explains what personal data I collect through this website, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. I’m responsible for that data, and you can contact me about it at oliviaballmarketing@gmail.com.

What I collect

• The enquiry form: your name, email address, brand name, website, approximate annual revenue and monthly Meta ad spend, and anything you write in the optional questions.
• Booking a call: the details you enter in the Calendly booking window, such as your name, email address and answers to its questions.
• Emails: anything you send me by email.

This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising tracking. My hosting provider may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Why I use it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare for our call and, if we decide to work together, to set up and run that work. The legal basis is that you’ve asked me to take these steps before we agree any contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

I won’t add you to a mailing list or sell or share your details for marketing.

Who handles it

A few services help me run this site and my inbox:

• Netlify hosts the site and stores enquiry form submissions.
• Calendly handles call bookings, under its own privacy policy.
• Google provides the email account that enquiries arrive in.

These providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set its own cookies. If you open the booking window, Calendly may set cookies and will ask for your consent where that’s required.

How long I keep it

If we don’t go on to work together, I delete enquiry details within 12 months. If we do, I keep records for as long as the work needs them and for any legal or accounting requirements after that.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send you a copy. You can also object to how I use it. Email me and I’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
