Meta Ads for DTC brands that have hit a growth plateau.

Revenue has slowed and ROAS has dropped. I find what’s holding your Meta Ads back and fix the right things first.

Without ripping apart what’s already working.

  • 5.95xMeta ROAS on a DTC sale campaign
  • 61%above revenue target, and 82% above order target
  • 4x+ROAS held across two simultaneous DTC campaigns
  • 6+ yrsin ecommerce, including as Marketing Manager

Before doing more, find out what’s stopping growth.

When Meta performance drops, it’s easy to assume the answer is more.

  • More spend.
  • More creative.
  • More campaigns.
  • More changes.

But if you don’t know what’s holding performance back, more activity just adds more variables. The problem could be:

  • Your creative
  • Your campaign structure
  • Your retargeting
  • The journey after the click
  • Ads that don’t match the rest of your brand
  • Something working that hasn’t had room to scale

My first job is to find the problem before anything gets changed.

Meta Ads Management

For established UK ecommerce and DTC brands that want more revenue from Facebook and Instagram ads without blindly increasing spend.

Campaign strategy and management
Account structure, campaign builds, audience strategy, retargeting, testing and scaling decisions.
Ongoing optimisation
Campaign monitoring, budget allocation and controlled decisions based on ROAS, cost per purchase, CTR, creative fatigue and wider performance.
Creative strategy
Angles, hooks, concepts and briefs based on what the data is telling us, and written to sound like the rest of your brand. You or your creative team produce the finished assets. I make sure every concept has a clear angle, hypothesis and role in the testing plan.
Ad copy
Paid social copy, headlines and messaging variations aligned with the campaign and creative strategy.
Weekly updates and monthly reporting
A short update every week and a full report each month, covering what changed, why it matters and what happens next. I’m also on WhatsApp during the week if questions come up.
Landing page recommendations
If the click is working but the destination isn’t, I’ll flag the friction: messaging mismatch, weak offer clarity, conversion barriers or a disconnect between the ad and the page.
Monthly strategy call
A focused review of performance, creative, what’s holding things back, testing priorities and what needs to happen next.

Diagnose broadly. Execute narrowly. If something outside Meta is hurting performance, I’ll flag it and explain why it matters, so decisions in your ad account are made with the full picture.

Let’s look at your Meta Ads

Pricing depends on ad spend and scope. TikTok Ads Management can be added where it makes sense for the brand.

Your first three months

Good paid media management is knowing what to change, why you’re changing it, and what should be left alone. The 3-month commitment gives each stage the time it needs.

  1. Month one

    Diagnose.

The first weeks are an audit and a chance to get to know the business, your customers and your competitors. Strategy comes before execution here, because anything built on the wrong foundations tends to crumble.

Account history, creative performance, Shopify data, revenue trends, retargeting, landing pages, customer journey, competitor activity, previous wins and losses.

  2. Month two

    Stabilise.

Protect what works and fix the biggest problems first.

That means no unnecessary rebuilds and no switching everything off just to put a new stamp on the account. Changes go in one at a time, so we can see what moved performance.

  3. Month three

    Scale.

Put more budget behind what’s working, with structured testing to find what comes next.

Creative testing, budget allocation and steady, controlled optimisation.

Results built around the business goal.

What happens when paid media is tied to a clear business target instead of ROAS alone.

61%

above revenue target on a DTC sale campaign

Without relying on the sale itself to create demand.

The strategy started before launch day. More than 3,000 leads were acquired pre-sale, audiences were warmed before the offer opened, and Meta and TikTok converted that demand throughout the campaign.

  • 5.95xMeta ROAS
  • 82%above order target
  • 222%above conversion-rate target
  • 3,000+pre-sale leads
The ROAS was strong, but the bigger win was getting lead generation, audience warming, creative and paid media working towards one goal.
4x+

ROAS across two campaigns, running at the same time

Two campaigns, one repeatable approach.

While I was in-house, I managed two Meta campaigns for separate product ranges at the same time. Both held above the brand’s 4x ROAS target.

  • 4.25xROAS, slug and snail deterrent
  • 4.02xROAS, water butt treatment

It came down to structured creative testing, a clean campaign setup, and ads that matched the landing pages they sent people to.

Your ad isn’t the whole sale.

A strong Meta campaign can get someone interested. But the click still has somewhere to go.

  1. The adGets the right person interested.
  2. The clickStill has somewhere to go.
  3. The pageNeeds to continue the conversation.
  4. The offerNeeds to make sense.
  5. RetargetingPicks up the people who weren’t ready.
  6. The saleTraffic you’ve paid for, turning into sales.

The most common problem I find is Meta being run separately from the rest of the business, so the ads say one thing and the website, emails and offers say another. That’s why I look beyond Ads Manager.

About

I’ve spent six years on your side of the table.

I’m Liv Ball, a Meta Ads consultant for UK ecommerce and DTC brands. Before starting L Digital, I spent more than six years in-house at Envii, a seven-figure garden and home brand, working up from Digital Marketing Executive to Marketing Manager.

So I don’t look at paid media as an isolated channel. I’ve had to think about the things happening behind the ROAS number too.

Stock levels, promotions, email, landing pages, revenue targets and what the business needs next.

That’s the perspective I bring to every Meta account I manage.

‘Olivia always demonstrated exceptional leadership and organisational skills while bringing a strong creative vision to every campaign, always finding the balance between strategy and innovation.’

This is for established ecommerce and DTC brands.

You already have something that works: a proven product, existing revenue, website traffic, paid media, creative assets, customer data and some email marketing.

The business has proven itself. The goal now is getting growth moving again.

We’ll probably be a good fit if

  • Revenue has stopped growing at the rate it used to.
  • ROAS has declined and you’re not completely sure why.
  • Your old winning creatives are starting to fatigue.
  • You’re spending on Meta but don’t want the only answer to be “increase the budget.”
  • You have plenty of traffic or customer data but suspect you could be doing more with it.
  • Your ads don’t feel connected to your website, emails or the rest of the brand.
  • You want someone who understands what running an ecommerce brand involves, beyond what Ads Manager says.

What I won’t do

  • Rebuild your account simply to look productive.
  • Recommend endless creative volume without knowing what we’re testing.
  • Change ten things at once and then pretend we know what caused the result.
  • Treat ROAS like the only number that matters.
  • Pretend every performance problem can be fixed inside Ads Manager.
  • Quietly turn your Meta retainer into responsibility for your entire marketing department.

Your revenue has plateaued. That doesn’t mean you need to throw more money at Meta.

You might already have more opportunity sitting inside your account, creative, traffic and customer journey than you realise. Let’s find out what’s holding performance back.

Best suited to established DTC brands already generating consistent sales and actively investing in Meta.
