L Digital is run by Olivia Ball. This page explains what personal data I collect through this website, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. I’m responsible for that data, and you can contact me about it at oliviaballmarketing@gmail.com.

What I collect

The homepage and the Meta Growth Scorecard page use the Meta Pixel, but only if you allow it (see Cookies below). The rest of the site doesn’t use analytics or advertising tracking. My hosting provider may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Why I use it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, show and follow up on your scorecard result, prepare for our call and, if we decide to work together, to set up and run that work. The legal basis is that you’ve asked me to take these steps before we agree any contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

If you allow the Meta Pixel, I use it to see which of my ads bring people to the site and to show my ads to people who have already visited. The legal basis for this is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

I won’t add you to a mailing list or sell your details. I don’t send your name or email address to Meta.

Who handles it

A few services help me run this site and my inbox:

These providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

Cookies

Most of this site sets no cookies. The homepage and the Meta Growth Scorecard page ask whether you allow a Meta advertising cookie. Your answer applies to both. If you click Allow, the Meta Pixel loads and tells Meta that you visited the page, sent an enquiry, opened the booking window, started or finished the scorecard, asked for a free Meta Growth Diagnosis or booked a call. If you click Decline, the Pixel doesn’t load and nothing is sent to Meta.

Your choice is saved in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the question will appear again next time you visit.

If you open the booking window, Calendly may set cookies and will ask for your consent where that’s required.

How long I keep it

If we don’t go on to work together, I delete enquiry details within 12 months. If we do, I keep records for as long as the work needs them and for any legal or accounting requirements after that.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send you a copy. You can also object to how I use it. Email me and I’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
